By using this website or providing us with your information, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you fill out our contact form, request a guide or white paper, subscribe to updates, or email or call us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, approximate annual export sales, how you heard about us, and anything else you choose to include in a message.
The "Do I Qualify?" tool. Our qualification calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter aren't sent to us, stored, or recorded anywhere. We only learn about your situation if you choose to contact us afterwards.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard technical information when you visit, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
A note on sensitive documents. Please don't send tax returns, financial statements, invoice detail, or Social Security numbers through this website. If we begin working together, we'll provide a secure method for exchanging those materials, and information you share with us as a client is governed by our engagement agreement rather than by this website policy.

- Provide an initial assessment of whether the IC-DISC program may be a fit for your business
- Prepare for and follow up on conversations and consultations
- Send occasional emails about the IC-DISC program, podcast episodes, tax law changes, and related topics
- Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it

How We Share Your Information
With service providers. We use third-party vendors to run this website and our marketing, including website hosting and security (Cloudflare), form processing and CRM, email marketing and delivery, website analytics (Google Analytics), podcast and media hosting, video hosting (YouTube), and scheduling tools. These providers only receive the information they need to perform their function.
With the IC-DISC Alliance. Export Advisors is a founding member of the IC-DISC Alliance. Where it helps us serve you better, and where appropriate to your situation, we may share your inquiry with Alliance partners so the right specialist can assist you.
With your CPA or advisors. We'll only communicate with your accountant, attorney, or other advisors at your direction.
When required by law. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of our clients or the public.
In a business transfer. If our business is merged, acquired, or restructured, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Confidentiality
Conversations about your business, your export sales, and your tax situation are confidential. We treat prospective client information with the same care as client information, whether or not we end up working together.
Cookies and Tracking
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site working properly, and measure traffic and site performance. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure how the site is used. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from automated spam, may set a cookie to verify you're a real visitor. Video embeds on our podcast pages use YouTube's no-cookie player, so YouTube doesn't set tracking cookies unless you press play.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site function. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there's no common industry standard for responding to those signals, we don't currently respond to them.
Email Communications
If you download a guide or submit a form, you may receive follow-up emails from us. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You can also email dspray@exportadvisors.com and ask to be removed. We may still send you transactional messages, such as delivering something you specifically requested.
Data Retention
We keep the information we collect for as long as it's needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as required by law. If you ask us to delete your information, we'll do so unless we're required to retain it for legal, tax, or recordkeeping reasons.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct inaccurate information
- Request that we delete your information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note that we don't sell personal information)
To make a request, email dspray@exportadvisors.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you're located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights regarding data portability and the ability to object to or restrict certain processing. This website is intended for a U.S. audience, and information we collect is processed in the United States.
Third-Party Links
This site links to other websites, including the IC-DISC Alliance, podcast platforms, and industry resources. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for business professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Not Tax or Legal Advice
Information on this website, including guides, blog posts, podcast episodes, and the results of our qualification tool, is general in nature and isn't tax, legal, or accounting advice. It doesn't create a client relationship. Consult a qualified professional about your specific situation.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted here, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
